GAMEWORNAUCTIONS.NET is pleased to present The Bill Gadsby Collection. This exciting collection of memorabilia comes directly from the personal collection of 8-time NHL All Star and Hall of Famer Bill Gadsby. These items were obtained directly from Bill’s wife, Edna Gadsby. A signed letter from Mrs. Gadsby will accompany your purchase.

This lot contains 3 items from Bill featuring him while playing with the New York Rangers. The first is original artwork by John Richard (Jack) Reppen (d. 1964). The piece is dated Jan 9, 1957 and measures approx 12x22. It depicts him holding his hockey stick while doctors and a nurse are climbing on him checking him out.



The second is original artwork, matted and framed. It reads “N.H.L. ALL- STAR in the greatest season ever enjoyed by a Ranger defenseman … Bill Gadsby”. This piece measures approx. 6x9, framed to 9x11.


The third is a presentation mug honoring the opening of Madison Square Garden on February, 11, 1968. It reads “Guest of Honor”, “Madison Square Garden”, “Feb.11.1968”.

Gadsby played 20 NHL seasons for the Blackhawks, Rangers and Red Wings. When he retired he was the all-time career scoring leader among defenseman with 568 points. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1970.
