Bill Flett played 11 seasons in the NHL for the Kings, Flyers, Maple Leafs, Flames and Oilers. He also played in the WHA with the Oilers. Flett is best know for being part of the 1973-74 Stanley Cup Champion Flyers.
In May 1999, Flett entered the hospital due to a gall bladder condition which eventually contributed to liver failure. Flett received a liver transplant; however, his body rejected the transplant. Flett died on July 13, 1999 due to liver failure. Signature is a 10.
