Lot #305
This black and grey CCM JetSpeed FT4 Pro hockey stick was game used by NHL MVP Auston Matthews. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Matthews with the 1st overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. This San Ramon, CA native made his NHL debut in 2016-17 with the Maple Leafs where he has played for all 6 years of his burgeoning career. Matthews won the Calder Trophy in 2017, finishing 2nd in the NHL in Goals as a rookie with 40. Auston finally captured the Rocket Richard Trophy in 2020-21, becoming the first Leaf’s player to lead the NHL in Goals since the mid 1940’s! Matthews backed up that 2020-21 campaign in 2021-22, adding his second Rocket Richard Trophy, his first Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s MVP, Ted Lindsay Award as the NHL’s outstanding player and First Team NHL All Star. Matthews’ 60-Goal season was the most goals scored by any American-born player in history and the most scored by any player in any season in the rich history of the Maple Leafs. Despite being only 25 years of age, Matthews has already eclipsed the 250-Goal plateau and is averaging better than a point per game. This dynamic center is already a five-time NHL All Star and is on an elite career path.

This black and grey CCM stick has the player nickname and number “Papi 34” on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition. This stick will be accompanied by a Maple Leafs team letter.
