This white hockey helmet by Mission was game worn by Anson Carter while playing for the Edmonton Oilers. The Quebec Nordiques selected Carter in the 10th round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. Anson spent 4 years playing at Michigan State University before beginning his NHL career in 1996-97 with the Washington Capitals. After 19 games with Washington, Carter was dealt to the Boston Bruins where he played for the next 4 seasons. Carter then spent time in Edmonton, New York, Washington again, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Columbus and Carolina before retiring from the NHL.
This white helmet has the player number “22” on back. The Oilers rig worker logo is on both sides but is starting to peel up. A red, white and blue ribbon is on the back left opposite the NHL shield.
