This white hockey helmet by CCM was game worn by center Alexei Zhamnov while playing for the Chicago Blackhawks. Born in Moscow, Alexei spent 4 seasons representing his hometown Moscow Dynamo before jumping to the NHL. His first season was 1992-93 with Winnipeg, where he remained thru the franchise’s final days. He next moved on to Chicago, where he played for 8 years before stops in Philadelphia and Boston. In 800 some odd NHL games, Alexei scored better than 700 points. His finest statistical seasons took place with the Jets, where in 1994-95 he finished 3rd in league scoring behind only Jagr and Lindros. Alexei was a 2nd team NHL All Star in 1995 and also played in an NHL All Star game.
