Description
Al Macinnis Calgary Flames White Sher-Wood Game Used Stick
Lot #426

This white Sher-Wood PMP 7000 was game used by Hall of Famer Al Macinnis while playing for the Calgary Flames. Drafted in the 1st round of the 1981 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames, Macinnis went onto a distinguished NHL career that spanned 23 seasons and 1416 games. He spent the first 13 seasons of his career with the Calgary Flames and completed his career with 10 seasons as a member of the St. Louis Blues. Al lit the lamp a resounding 340 times thanks in large part to his booming slap shot that was often clocked at 100MPH. He added an impressive 934 helpers giving him a total of 1274 career points, good for 3rd on the all-time scoring list for defenseman. Macinnis captured the 1989 Norris Trophy as the NHL’s best defenseman and the 1989 Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP as he led his Calgary Flames to the first Stanley Cup title in team history. Al was 7-times a 1st or 2nd team NHL All Star and played in double-digit NHL All Star games.

This white Sher-Wood stick has the player name and number “Macinnis 2” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
