This black & gold Sher-Wood Flx 110 Ti hockey stick was game used by Hall of Famer Al MacInnis while playing for the St. Louis Blues. Drafted in the 1st round of the 1981 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames, Macinnis went onto a distinguished NHL career that spanned 23 seasons and 1416 games. He spent the first 13 seasons of his career with the Flames and completed his career with 10 seasons as a member of the St. Louis Blues. Al lit the lamp a resounding 340 times thanks in large part to his booming slap shot that was often clocked at 100MPH. He added an impressive 934 helpers giving him a total of 1274 career points, good for 3rd on the all-time scoring list for defenseman. Macinnis captured the 1989 Norris Trophy as the NHL’s best defenseman and the 1989 Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP as he led his Calgary Flames to the first Stanley Cup title in team history. Al was 7-times a 1st or 2nd team NHL All Star and played in double-digit NHL All Star games. He was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007.
This black & gold Sher-Wood stick has the player name “MacInnis” stamped on the side of the blade. The stick is fully taped on the butt. The blade tape has been removed so Al could autograph it. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
