Lot #314
GAMEWORNAUCTIONS.NET is pleased to present The Michel Goulet Collection. This exciting collection of game worn jerseys, game used sticks, game worn equipment and memorabilia come directly from the personal collection of Hockey Hall of Famer, Michel Goulet. Mr. Goulet personally collected and preserved these items over the course of his legendary NHL career. A signed letter from Mr. Goulet will accompany your purchase.

This Louisville TPS hockey stick was game used by Hall of Famer Adam Oates while playing for the Boston Bruins. This playmaking Hall of Famer made a name for himself setting up some of the great snipers of the modern era. First it was Brett Hull in St. Louis, next it was Cam Neely in Boston and finally it was Peter Bondra in Washington. His playmaking abilities led him to the rank of 6th in career NHL assists with only Gretzky, Francis, Bourque, Messier and Coffey ahead of him. Through his lengthy career, Adam accumulated nearly 1100 assists and better than 1400 career points which ranks him 16th all-time. Oates was a 2nd Team NHL All Star at Center and played in 5 NHL All Star games. Oates was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame as part of the 2012 class.

This Louisville stick has the player name “Oates” stamped on the side. Both the butt and blade tape have been removed. Adam has autographed the blade “Goo, Best Wishes, Adam Oates”. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition. This fresh to the hobby example comes directly from the personal collection of Michel Goulet and will be accompanied by his signed LOA.
