This road white air-knit gamer by Adidas was worn by Jack Eichel during the 2018-19 NHL season. The Buffalo Sabres selected Eichel with the 2nd overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. This North Chelmsford, MA native played his college hockey at Boston University and spent time with the U.S. National Team before making his NHL debut in 2015-16 with the Sabres. Eichel spent his first 6 seasons in Buffalo where he served for three years as Team Captain before joining the Vegas Golden Knights. Averaging about a point per game thus far in his career, this talented Center iceman has already played in three NHL All Star Games. On the international stage, Eichel has represented Team USA in the World Championships as well as the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. The game wear on this 1st set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Eichel wearing this exact jersey during the 2018-19 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Buffalo Sabres game worn jersey tagging. Eichel wore this sweater beginning with the road opener on October 13, 2018 and on thru November 30, 2018, thereby making it Jack’s first Captain’s jersey. Eichel netted 28 goals and added 54 assists for 82 points in 77 games played, earning himself an appearance in the NHL All Star Game. This is the first game worn NHL Eichel jersey that we’ve had the pleasure to offer. An outstanding photo matched example, worn by this young superstar that marked the first time Eichel sported the coveted letter of honor, choice! This jersey will be accompanied by a Sabres team letter.
