2017-18 Kyle Okposo Buffalo Sabres Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #249

This home blue air-knit gamer by Adidas was worn by Kyle Okposo during the 2017-18 NHL season. The New York Islanders selected Okposo with the 7th overall pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. This St. Paul, MN native attended the University of Minnesota prior to beginning his professional career with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in 2007-08. Okposo made his NHL debut later the same season with a 9-game stint for the New York Islanders where he played for the first 9 years of his career prior to joining the Buffalo Sabres in 2016-17. On the international stage, Okposo has represented Team USA in the World Jr. Championships as well as in 3 World Championships. Okposo made his NHL All Star Game debut in 2017 representing the Buffalo Sabres.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Sewn to the right sleeve is the NHL’s 100-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this 1st set size 58 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Okposo wearing this exact jersey during the 2017-18 season. According to the Sabres, Kyle wore this jersey from October 5, 2017 through December 15, 2017. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Buffalo Sabres game worn jersey tagging. A beautiful photo matched example from the first set of Adidas gamers. This jersey will be accompanied by a Sabres team letter.
