This white air-knit gamer by Adidas was worn by Alexander Burmistrov on September 21, 2017 during the first-ever NHL game in China. The Atlanta Thrashers selected Burmistrov in the 1st round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. This Russian native made his NHL debut in 2010-11 with Atlanta where he played for one season before transferring with the franchise to Winnipeg the following year. After parts of four years in Winnipeg, Alex finished up his NHL career with stints in Arizona and Vancouver. In 2018 Burmistrov returned to Russia where he is competing in the KHL.
Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the 2017 NHL China Games patch. The game wear on this sweater is on the lighter side as would be expected. Shown above is a beautiful photo of Burmistrov wearing this exact jersey during the September 21, 2017 game in Shanghai, China that pitted the Vancouver Canucks against the Los Angeles Kings. It was the NHL’s first-ever game in China. Sewn to the base of the fight strap is the official Vancouver Canucks China Games September 21 Shanghai game worn jersey patch with barcode. A nice example from a history-making event. This jersey will be accompanied by a Canucks team letter.
