2016-17 Pekka Rinne Nashville Predators Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match Team Letter
Lot #123

This home gold air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Pekka Rinne during the 2016-17 NHL season. The Nashville Predators selected Rinne in the 8th round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. After spending four seasons in his native Finland, where he led his team to back-to-back Finnish Elite League Championships, Rinne made his NHL debut in 2005-06 with the Predators. This 6’5” Goalie has spent all 14-years of his NHL career between the pipes for the Predators. Rinne was twice named 1st or 2nd Team NHL All Star and he has played in three NHL All Star Games. The 2017-18 season saw Rinne win the Vezina Trophy as the leagues top netminder. The 2016-17 season saw Pekka lead the Predators to the Stanley Cup Finals where they fell to the powerful Pittsburgh Penguins. Rinne already has 55 career shutouts to his credit and he continues to climb the NHL’s all-time Wins list with his sights set on the elusive 400-Wins club in the not too distant future.

The game wear on this 1st set size 58 Goalie cut sweater consists of stick and puck marks and pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Rinne wearing this exact jersey during the 2016-17 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. A beautiful photo matched offering from the season that saw Rinne lead the Predators all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in franchise history. This jersey will be accompanied by a Predators team letter.
