This home blue air-knit jersey by Reebok was issued for use by Nick Baptiste during the 2016-17 NHL season, his rookie year. The Buffalo Sabres selected Baptiste in the 3rd round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. This Ottawa native made his NHL debut in 2016-17 with the Sabres where he played for a couple of seasons. Most recently, Baptiste has been playing with the AHL’s Toronto Marlies as part of the Maple Leafs organization.
This size 56 sweater shows light but obvious game use that includes a couple of board burns and board paint transfer. Originally worn by an unknown player in 2010-11, this jersey was repurposed for the 2016-17 season by the Sabres for Baptiste who did not play any games while wearing it. Sewn into the hem is the official Buffalo Sabres game worn jersey tagging. The original Reebok logo on the upper verso was covered up with a swatch of blue air-knit material and the modern day version was sewn atop. This jersey will be accompanied by a Sabres team letter.
