2016-17 Brady Skjei New York Rangers Game Worn Jersey – “90-year Anniversary” – Rookie - 1st Team NHL All-Rookie - Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #145

This home blue air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Brady Skjei during the 2016-17 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, during his rookie season. The New York Rangers selected Skjei in the 1st round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at the University of Minnesota, this Lakeville, MN native made his NHL debut in 2015-16 with the Rangers, playing in just 7 games. Brady became a fixture on New York’s blueline the following season when he earned 1st Team NHL All-Rookie honors. This rearguard has spent his entire five-year NHL career calling Madison Square Garden home.

Sewn to the right sleeve of this gamer is the NHL’s 100-year anniversary patch. Sewn to the right shoulder is the New York Rangers 90-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this playoff set size 58 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board pant transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and nearly a couple of handfuls of team-sewn repairs. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Skjei wearing this exact jersey during the 2016-17 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Affixed to the inside collar is the official New York Rangers game worn jersey barcode. Affixed to the fight strap is the Stanley Cup Finals Rounds 1 & 2 designation. A terrific well-worn multi anniversary patched photo matched offering from Skjei’s 1st Team NHL All-Rookie season. This jersey will be accompanied by a Rangers team letter.
