2015-16 Steve Mason Philadelphia Flyers Game Worn Jersey – “EMS” – Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #117

This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Steve Mason during the 2015-16 NHL season. The Columbus Blue Jackets selected Mason in the 3rd round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Mason made his NHL debut in 2008-09 with Columbus and won the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s Rookie of the Year. Mason played in Columbus for five seasons before a deal sent him to the Philadelphia Flyers where he spent his next four seasons. Steve wrapped up his 10-year NHL career between the pipes with Winnipeg, retiring following the 2017-18 season.

Sewn to the left shoulder of this gamer is the EMS patch to commemorate the passing of longtime Flyers’ owner, Ed Snider. The game wear on this 3rd set size 58 Goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick, slash and puck marks, goal post paint transfer and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Mason wearing this exact jersey during the 2015-16 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Philadelphia Flyers game worn jersey and set tagging. A beautiful patched and photo matched offering by this 10-year NHL veteran and Calder Trophy winning netminder. This jersey will be accompanied by a Flyers team letter.
