Lot #103

This home red air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Johnny Gaudreau during the 2015-16 NHL season. The Calgary Flames selected Gaudreau in the 4th round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. This Salem, NJ native played his college hockey at Boston College and won the 2014 Hobey Baker Award. Johnny made his NHL debut in 2013-14 following his award winning college season, playing in a single game before making the NHL All-Rookie 1st Team in 2014-15. Gaudreau is now in his 7th NHL season having spent all of them with the Calgary Flames. This 5’ 9” winger has finished top-10 in NHL scoring twice already in his career and has played in five consecutive NHL All Star Games. Johnny won the 2016-17 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy and is coming off a career best season that saw him score 36 goals, 63 assists and 99 points.

The game wear on this 1st set size 52 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired trauma, stitch pops and fine inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Gaudreau wearing this exact jersey during the 2015-16 season. According to the Flames, Johnny wore this from the beginning of the season thru December 31, 2015. They also indicate that this was the jersey that Gaudreau was wearing when he scored the overtime winner on November 10, 2015 against the Blackhawks. Affixed to the inside hem is the official Calgary Flames game worn jersey tagging. Penned in black sharpie on the fight strap is “Set 1”. A terrific photo matched offering worn by this five-time NHL All Star during his first 30-goal season.
