2014 Ryan Miller Team USA Sochi Olympics Game Worn Jersey USA Hockey Letter
Lot #96
This blue swift gamer by Nike was worn by Ryan Miller during the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi. The Buffalo Sabres selected Miller in the 5th round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at Michigan State University where he won the Hobey Baker Award, this East Lansing, MI native made his NHL debut in 2002-03 with Buffalo. Miller spent 11 seasons between the pipes in Buffalo and won the Vezina Trophy in 2009-10. During his time with the Sabres, Miller compiled 284 Wins and 28 shutouts. After leaving Buffalo, Miller played a partial season in St. Louis before spending three years in Vancouver. Miller joined the Anaheim Ducks prior to the start of the 2017-18 season and is now in his fourth season with the club. Already to his credit are nearly 400 Wins, which place him top 15 all-time, an All-Star Game appearance, a 1st Team NHL All Star selection, a Vezina Trophy and a couple of Olympic appearances between the pipes for Team USA.

Sewn to the back hem of this gamer is the Olympic Games patch. Miller wore this size 58 Goalie cut sweater during the 2nd, 3rd, OT and shootout periods of the February 15, 2014 game between the United States and Russia at the Bolshoy Ice Dome in Sochi. Team USA won the game by the score of 3-2 in a shootout. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Team USA game worn jersey tagging. Affixed alongside is the official Nike barcode. A beautiful example from Miller’s last Olympic game with Team USA. This jersey will be accompanied by a Team USA letter.
