2014 Al Secord Dallas Stars Alumni Worn Jersey
Lot #114
This white air-knit gamer by K1 was worn by Al Secord during a Dallas Stars 2014 Alumni game. The Boston Bruins selected Secord in the 1st round of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft. This Sudbury native made his NHL debut in 1978-79 with the Boston Bruins where he played for a few years before joining the Chicago Blackhawks. Al next spent 7 years in Chicago before finishing up his NHL career with stops in Toronto and New York before returning to the Hawks for a final season. Secord possessed plenty of ability that he combined with a sheer mean streak. During his prime years with Chicago, Secord had staggering single season goal totals of 54, 44 and 40. Triple digit PIMS totals were the norm with a single season career best of 303 coming in 1981-82. In fact, Secord is the only NHL player to net 40 goals and record 300 PIMS in a single season. Al played in two NHL All Star Games, scored 273 goals and amassed 2093 PIMS in 766 career games. Come playoff time, Secord continued to overwhelm the opposition, recording 21 goals, 55 points and 382 PIMS in 102 games played.

This Alumni worn size XXL sweater features beautiful black sharpie signatures in Secord’s own hand on both the front and back of this sweater. A beautiful post career offering worn by a legendary NHL tough guy.
