2014-15 Dan Boyle New York Rangers Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match Team Letter
Lot #229

This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Dan Boyle during the 2014-15 NHL season. After graduating from the University of Miami (Ohio), Boyle began his NHL career with the Florida Panthers in 1998-99. Boyle played for parts of 4-years with the Panthers before a deal sent him across the state to the Tampa Bay Lightning. He would spend 6 seasons in Tampa where he won a Stanley Cup before joining the San Jose Sharks for a 6-year stint. Boyle then spent his last couple of seasons on the New York Rangers blueline. This adept rearguard was recognized as one of the league’s top defensemen as evidenced by a pair of 2nd Team NHL All Star selections as well as an NHL All Star game appearance.

The game wear on this 4th set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, cuff pilling, inner pilling and some team-sewn repair work to the right elbow. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Boyle wearing this exact jersey during the 2014-15 season. Affixed to the collar is the official New York Rangers game worn jersey barcode. According to team records, Boyle wore this sweater from March 4, 2015 through April 11, 2015. A well-worn photo matched example from Boyle’s first season with the Broadway Blueshirts. This jersey will be accompanied by a Rangers team letter.
