2013-14 Martin Jones Los Angeles Kings Game Worn Jersey – Rookie - Stanley Cup Season - Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #185

This home black air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Martin Jones during the 2013-14 Stanley Cup winning season, his rookie year. Following four years of junior hockey with the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL and a few seasons with the AHL’s Manchester Monarchs, this North Vancouver native made his NHL debut in 2013-14 with the Los Angeles Kings. Jones guarded the nets for two seasons in Los Angeles and won a Stanley Cup as a rookie while backing up Jonathan Quick. A pair of quick trades in a four-day span in the summer of 2015 first sent Martin to Boston and then to his new home in San Jose where he has stood tall as the man between the pipes for the past five seasons. During that time, Jones twice finished top three in the NHL in Wins, was runner up in shutouts with 6 in 2015-16 and earned himself a spot in the 2017 NHL All Star Game.

The game wear on this 1st set size 58 Goalie cut sweater consists of stick and puck marks, some heavy exterior sleeve pilling and inner pilling. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Jones wearing this exact jersey during the 2013-14 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Los Angeles Kings game worn jersey tagging. A terrific photo matched offering hailing from Martin’s rookie NHL season and one that saw the Kings win the Stanley Cup. This jersey will be accompanied by a Kings team letter.
