2013-14 James van Reimsdyk Toronto Maple Leafs Game Worn Jersey - First 30-Goal Season Team Letter
Lot #90

This home blue air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by James van Riemsdyk during the 2013-14 NHL season. The Philadelphia Flyers selected van Riemsdyk with the 2nd overall pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at the University of New Hampshire, this Middletown, NJ native began his NHL career with the Flyers in 2009-10. Following 3 less than inspiring seasons in Philly, van Riemsdyk was dealt to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2012 where his career finally began to take off. In just his 2nd season with the Leafs, he notched his first 30 Goal season. Last season van Riemsdyk netted a career best 36 Goals in front of the Toronto fans. On the international stage, van Riemsdyk has represented Team USA in the World Championships, the 2016 World Cup of Hockey and the 2014 Olympics where he rang up 7 points in 6 games. In the summer of 2018, James agreed to a 5-year $35 million contract to return to the Flyers.

The game wear on this size 56 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Toronto Maple Leafs game worn jersey tagging. A nice example hailing from Van Riemsdyk’s first 30-Goal season. This jersey will be accompanied by a Maple Leafs team letter.
