Description
2013-14 Brock Nelson New York Islanders Game Worn Jersey – Alternate - Rookie - Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #652
This black alternate air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Brock Nelson during the 2013-14 NHL season, his rookie year. The New York Islanders selected Nelson in the 1st round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Nelson is of course the nephew of “Miracle on Ice” alum and NHL All Star, Dave Christian. After playing two season of college hockey for the Fighting Sioux at the University of North Dakota, this Warroad, MN native began his NHL career with a single game during the 2013 playoffs with the Islanders. Now, with a handful of seasons in the league, Nelson already has several 20-goal seasons to his credit and continues to improve as a core member of the upstart Islanders.

The game wear on this 1st set size 58 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, a good many board burns and un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Nelson wearing this exact jersey during the 2013-14 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official New York Islanders game worn jersey tagging. A terrific photo matched alternate from this North Dakota alum’s rookie season. This jersey will be accompanied by an Islanders team letter.
