This road white air-knit jersey by Reebok was issued for use by Alex Ovechkin during the 2013-14 NHL season. The Washington Capitals selected Ovechkin with the 1st overall pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. After playing in his native Russia for four seasons, Ovechkin made his NHL debut with the Washington Capitals in 2005-06 and hasn’t looked back. This prolific scorer now has 14 years of service to the Caps and just this past season passed the 650 Goal mark, placing himself inside the top 15 in NHL history at just 33 years of age! Alex has eight 50-goal seasons to his credit as well as four 100-point seasons. His mantel is full of hardware including the 2005-06 Calder Trophy as Rookie of the Year, an Art Ross Trophy as the NHL’s leading scorer, three Hart Memorial Trophies as the NHL’s MVP, three Ted Lindsay Awards as the NHL’s outstanding player and an incredible 8 Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophies as the NHL’s leading goal scorer! Internationally, Ovechkin has represented his native Russia in numerous World Championships, the 2004 and 2016 World Cups of Hockey and the 2006, 2010 and 2014 Olympics.
