2012-13 Tom Sestito Vancouver Canucks Game Worn Jersey – Millionaires – Team Letter
Lot #101
This home maroon air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Tom Sestito during the 2012-13 NHL season. The Columbus Blue Jackets selected Sestito in the 3rd round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. This native of Rome, NY began his NHL career in 2007-08 with Columbus where he spent parts of three seasons before playing for the Philadelphia Flyers for two years. This winger went on to spend three years with the Vancouver Canucks before finishing up his NHL career with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Sestito, who stands 6’ 5”, played the role of enforcer and amassed 499 PIMS in his 154 game NHL career. His single season career best total of 213 PIMS came with the Canucks during the 2013-14 season.

On March 16, 2013 Vancouver played host to the Detroit Red Wings and sported their Millionaires jerseys for the first time in the modern era as they celebrated 100 years of professional hockey in Vancouver. Featuring a beautiful felt V crest, the game wear on this size 58+ set 1 sweater that was worn during the 1st period and warm ups is on the lighter side as would be expected. Affixed to the base of the fight strap is the official Vancouver Canucks game worn jersey barcode and set information. A terrific piece of Vancouver hockey history. This jersey will be accompanied by a Canucks team letter.
