This home blue air-knit gamer by Reebok and Elite Sportswear was worn by Nail Yakupov during the 2012-13 NHL season, his rookie year. The Edmonton Oilers selected Yakupov with the first overall pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. This Russian native made his NHL debut in 2012-13 with the Oilers where he played for four seasons. Yakupov then spent a season each with the St. Louis Blues and Colorado Avalanche before returning to Russia. Yakupov has spent the past five seasons skating in the KHL.
The game wear on this size 56 sweater is on the lighter side, having been worn in just the January 28, 2013 game against the Colorado Avalanche. This was Yakupov’s fifth career game, a night that saw the rookie score his third career NHL Goal. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Yakupov wearing this exact jersey during the 2012-13 season, in the aforementioned game. On the back player number is a beautiful black sharpie signature in Yakupov’s own hand. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Edmonton Oilers game worn jersey and set tagging. A beautiful photo matched signed example, worn by Yakupov in his fifth career game as he scored his third career NHL Goal. This jersey will be accompanied by an Oilers team letter.
