2012-13 Justin Schultz Oklahoma City Barons Game Worn Jersey Rookie Eddie Shore Award Photo Match Team Letter
Lot #428
This blue air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Justin Schultz during the 2012-13 AHL season, his rookie year. The Anaheim Ducks selected Schultz in the 2nd round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at the University of Wisconsin, Schultz made his NHL debut in 2012-13 with the Edmonton Oilers where he earned 1st Team All-Rookie honors. Justin spent parts of four seasons on the Oilers blueline before joining the Pittsburgh Penguins in time for the 2016 Stanley Cup run. Justin won back-to-back Stanley Cup rings with the Penguins in his five years with the club before joining the Washington Capitals.

The game wear on this size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and a couple of handfuls of team-sewn repairs. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Schultz wearing this exact jersey during the 2012-13 season. On the back player number is a beautiful black sharpie signature in Schultz’s own hand. While wearing this sweater, Schultz became the first-ever rookie to win the Eddie Shore Award in its 55-year history. A well-worn photo matched sweater from Schultz’s award-winning rookie season. This jersey will be accompanied by a Barons team letter.
