2012-13 Ben Bishop Binghamton Senators Game Worn Jersey 40-year Anniversary - Photo Match
Lot #308

This road black air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Ben Bishop during the 2012-13 AHL season. The St. Louis Blues selected Bishop in the 3rd round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at the University of Maine, this Denver, CO native made his NHL debut in 2008-09 with the Blues where he played for a couple of seasons. Bishop next suited up for the Ottawa Senators for parts of two years before joining the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2012-13. This 6’ 7” goalie played for the Bolts for parts of five seasons, leading his team to the 2015 Stanley Cup Finals. He earned 2nd Team NHL All Star honors and played in his first NHL All Star Game in the process. Bishop played briefly for the Los Angeles Kings before finding a new home with the Dallas Stars. Bishop has the 2nd best career GAA of any active NHL Goalie and is compiling impressive career stats.

Sewn to the rear hem of this gamer is the Binghamton Senators 40-year anniversary patch. Sewn to the right breast is the sponsorship patch. The game wear on this size 58+ Goalie cut sweater consists of stick, slash and puck marks, pilling at the sleeve cuffs and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Bishop wearing this exact jersey during the 2012-13 season. Sewn to the inner collar is the official Binghamton Senators game worn jersey tagging. A terrific photo matched offering from this award-winning Goalie’s minor league days.
