This home blue air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Al Montoya during the 2012-13 NHL season. The New York Rangers selected Montoya in the 1st round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at the University of Michigan, this Chicago native made his NHL debut in 2008-09 with the Phoenix Coyotes. Montoya would go onto a 9-year NHL career that saw him represent the Coyotes, Islanders, Jets, Panthers, Canadiens and the Oilers.
The game wear on this 2nd set size 58 Goalie cut sweater consists of stick and puck marks, board burns, cuff pilling and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Montoya wearing this exact jersey during the 2012-13 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Winnipeg Jets game worn jersey tagging. A nice photo matched example that was worn by this Goalie during his first season with the Winnipeg Jets. This jersey will be accompanied by a Jets team letter.
