This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Tim Thomas during the 2011-12 NHL season. The Quebec Nordiques selected Thomas in the 9th round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. After spending 4 years between the pipes for the University of Vermont, Thomas embarked on a career that spanned 9 NHL seasons, all but one of them with the Boston Bruins. During that time this native of Flint Michigan represented the Bruins in 2 NHL All Star games, won the 2008-09 Jennings Trophy and walked away with a 1st Team NHL All Star selection in 2008-09. On the international stage, Thomas has represented Team USA in numerous World Championships as well as the 2010 Olympics where he won a Silver Medal. His crowning achievement was leading the Bruins to the 2011 Stanley Cup.
The game wear on this 3rd set size 58+ Goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick and puck marks, heavy goal post and crossbar paint transfer and pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Thomas wearing this exact jersey while celebrating his final win with the Boston Bruins, a Game 6 overtime playoff thriller in Washington. A well-worn photo matched offering, worn by the only man to backstop the Bruins to a Stanley Cup Championshp in over 40 years.
