2011-12 Scott Gomez Montreal Canadiens Game Worn Jersey
Lot #162
This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Scott Gomez during the 2011-12 NHL season. The New Jersey Devils selected Gomez in the 1st round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. This Anchorage Alaska native began his NHL career in New Jersey in 1999-00 and won a Stanley Cup as a rookie, the first of two he captured with the Devils. Scott also walked away with the Calder Trophy as the 1999-00 Rookie of the year. Gomez is a 2-time NHL All Star and has represented team USA in the 2004 World Cup of Hockey as well as the 2006 Olympics. After spending 7 years in New Jersey, Scott played for 2 seasons with the New York Rangers before joining the Montreal Canadiens where he resided for 3 seasons. Since leaving Les Habitants, Gomez has played for the Sharks, Panthers and Devils.

The game wear on this 1st set size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns and fine inner pilling. Removed from the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. A black sharpie “1” resides on the inside collar. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Montreal Canadiens game worn jersey tagging while the team hologram resides on the back player number. A fantastic Centennial patched example worn by this NHL All Star.
