Lot #231

This blue knit Memorial Cup Commemorative gamer by Reebok was worn by Memorial Cup MVP Michael Chaput during the first game of the 2011-12 Memorial Cup playoffs. The Philadelphia Flyers selected Chaput in the 3rd round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. After four years of juniors in the QMJHL, Chaput made his NHL debut in 2013-14 with he Columbus Blue Jackets. Michael spent three seasons with Columbus before playing for a couple of seasons in Vancouver and most recently a year with Montreal.

This sweater was worn by Chaput during the opening game of the Memorial Cup playoffs. These jerseys were designed to honor the 62nd Field Artillery Regiment of the Canadian Army, which is located in Shawinigan. Proudly sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Sewn to the left shoulder is the 2012 Memorial Cup patch. The game wear on this size 56 sweater is on the lighter side as would be expected with some stick marks and board burns most worthy of mention. A beautiful offering from the opening game and worn by the Memorial Cup MVP. This jersey will be accompanied by a CHL letter.
