2011-12 Carter Verhaeghe Niagara IceDogs Game Worn Jersey - “Memorial Cup” - “John” - Rookie
Lot #128
This white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Carter Verhaeghe during the 2011-12 OHL season, his rookie OHL year. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Verhaeghe in the 3rd round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. This Toronto native spent four seasons of junior hockey with Niagara prior to embarking on his professional career. Verhaeghe made his NHL debut in 2019-20 with the Tampa Bay Lightning where he played for one season. Carter joined the Florida Panthers in 2020-21 and is now in his third year with the team. The 2022-23 season saw Verhaeghe notch the first 40-Goal year of his young NHL career.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the 2012 Shawinigan Memorial Cup patch. Sewn to the left breast is the “John” patch. The game wear on this size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and areas of fine pilling. Affixed to the inside hem is the official Niagara IceDogs game worn jersey tagging. Verhaeghe wore this multi-patched sweater during his first year of junior hockey as he and the Niagara IceDogs trekked to the Memorial Cup.
