2010 Ondrej Pavelec Czech Republic World Championships Game Worn Jersey - Gold Medal Winning Season Team Letter
Lot #197

This white air-knit gamer by StridaSport was worn by Ondrej Pavelec during the 2010 World Championship prelims. The Atlanta Thrashers selected Pavelec in the 2nd round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. This Czech native made his NHL debut in 2007-08 with Atlanta where he played for four seasons before transferring with the club to Winnipeg. Ondrej spent the next 6 seasons between the pipes for the Jets before playing one final season with the New York Rangers. On the international stage, Pavelec tended goal for the Czechs in numerous World Championships and also represented his country in the Olympics.

The game wear on this size XXXL Goalie cut sweater consists of stick and puck marks, sight material tearing at the front collar and inner pilling. Ondrej wore this sweater during the World Championships preparatory game between the Czech Republic and Belarus on May 6, 2010, a 3-0 victory. Merely a couple of weeks later, Pavelec and his brethren would be celebrating a World Championship Gold Medal, the 6th all-time for the Czech Team. A nice international offering of this 11-year NHL veteran goaltender. This jersey will be accompanied by a copy of a Team Czech letter.
