This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Tim Stapleton during the 2010-11 NHL season. After playing his college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, this Forest Park, IL native made his NHL debut in 2008-09 with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Tim spent four years in the NHL where he represented the Maple Leafs, Atlanta Thrashers and Winnipeg Jets before heading to Europe. Stapleton spent 6 more years in Europe, competing in the KHL, Del and the Swiss-A leagues.
The game wear on this 2nd set size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Stapleton wearing this exact jersey during the 2010-11 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. A nice photo matched example from the Thrashers final season in Atlanta.
