This burgundy air-knit jersey by Reebok was issued for use by Lance Bouma during the 2011 Heritage Classic in Calgary, his rookie year. The Calgary Flames selected Bouma in the 3rd round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. This Provost, ALTA native made his NHL debut in 2010-11 with the Flames where he played for 6 seasons, then spent one final NHL season with the Chicago Blackhawks before continuing his career in Europe.
On February 20, 2011 the Calgary Flames played host to the Montreal Canadiens at McMahon Stadium in Calgary for the 2011 Heritage Classic. The Flames wore these stylish 1920’s Calgary Tigers styled throwbacks and shut out the Canadiens by a score of 4-0 in the process. Sewn to the right breast of this jersey is the 2011 Heritage Classic Calgary patch. Being game issued, this 2nd period size 58 sweater does not show any game use.
