This home blue Retro air-knit gamer by Reebok and Elite Sportswear was worn by Jason Strudwick during the 2010-11 NHL season, his final NHL season. The New York Islanders selected Strudwick in the 3rd round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. This Edmonton native made his NHL debut in 1995-96 with the Islanders. A trade in exchange for Gino Odjick sent the youngster to the Vancouver Canucks, where he played for five seasons. Jason then spent time with the Blackhawks, Rangers and Oilers before completing his playing career in Sweden. All told this hard-nosed player partook in 674 games over the course of 14 NHL seasons.
Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. The game wear on this 2nd set size 58+ Retro sweater is on the lighter side. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Edmonton Oilers game worn jersey and set tagging. A nice offering that sports the coveted letter of honor and was worn by Strudwick during his final NHL season. This jersey will be accompanied by an Oilers team letter.
