Description
2010-11 David Grun University of Minnesota-Duluth Game Worn Jersey – “2011 Frozen Four” - 1st UMD National Championship - Photo Match
Lot #319

This white knit gamer by Bauer was worn by David Grun during the 2010-11 WCHA season, UMD’s first National Championship winning season. This White Bear Lake, MN native spent a couple of years in the USHL before joining the college ranks where he played four seasons of college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Grun was a member of the celebrated team that won the first National Championship in Minnesota-Duluth history in Saint-Paul, MN in 2011.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NCAA 2011 Saint-Paul Frozen Four patch. The game wear on this size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and a team-sewn repair to repair a gash at the back right hem. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Grun wearing this exact jersey during the 2010-11 Frozen Four. A beautiful photo matched example, complete with the Frozen Four patch and hailing from the Bulldogs first-ever National Championship season.
