This home orange air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Darroll Powe during the 2010-11 NHL season. After graduating from Princeton University, this undrafted Center suited up for the Philadelphia Flyers AHL affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms for parts of 3 years before cracking the Flyers lineup for the first time in 2008-09. Darroll played in 60 games during that his rookie season and has been an NHL regular ever since, spending 3 seasons with the Flyers and more recently joining the Minnesota Wild. During the Flyers run to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2010, Powe played in all 23 playoff games as Philly fell to the Blackhawks in the Cup Finals.
The sleeves on this gamer have been custom shortened for Powe by the team. The game wear on this 1st set size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns and inner pilling. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Powe wearing this exact jersey during the 2010-11 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Flyers team letter.
