This red air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Ryan O’Reilly during the 2009 CHL/NHL Top Prospects game. The Colorado Avalanche selected O’Reilly in the 2nd round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. After spending a couple of seasons with the Erie Otters of the OHL, this center iceman began his NHL career in 2009-10 with the Avalanche. O’Reilly has spent the past 6 seasons with the Avalanche and set a career high with 28 goals and 64 points in 2013-14.
Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the 2009 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game patch. Sewn below is the Bobby Orr “Orr” team patch as Bobby Orr and Don Cherry renewed their coaching rivalry for the 2009 CHL/NHL Top Prospects game. Team Orr prevailed with a 6-0 thrashing of Team Cherry. Light but obvious game use exists on this size 56 sweater. Shown above is a beautiful photo of O’Reilly wearing his 2009 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game jersey prior to the game as well as in the celebratory team photo.
