This black mesh jersey by Reebok was game worn by Jeff Reed during the 2009 NFL season. After playing his college career at North Carolina, this placekicker went undrafted in the 2002 NFL Draft. After originally being signed by the New Orleans Saints for an unsuccessful tryout, Reed joined the Steelers during the 2002 regular season as a replacement for the injured Todd Peterson. After a successful 2002 season where he scored 100 points, Peterson was released making Reed their primary kicker. Reed kicked for the Steelers into the 2010 season. In December of 2010, Reed joined the San Francisco 49ers, replacing injured kicker Joe Nedney. Reed finished his 5-game 49er’s career hitting 9 of 10 field goals and all 13 of his extra points. That turned out to be Reed’s final NFL season. Reed is a 2-time Super Bowl Champions with the Steelers and is the 2nd highest scoring Steeler behind Gary Anderson.
This black mesh jersey, size 50, has the player name “Reed” on the back. The player number “3” is on the front, back and both shoulders. In the neck is the year and size tag.
