2009-10 Zack Kassian Windsor Spitfires Game Worn Jersey – “2010 Memorial Cup” - Championship Season - Photo Match
Lot #217

This red air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Zack Kassian during the 2009-10 Memorial Cup winning season. The Buffalo Sabres selected Kassian in the 1st round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. After four seasons in the OHL with Peterborough and Windsor, Kassian began his professional career in 2011 where he spent time with the AHL’s Portland Pirates and the Rochester Americans. His NHL debut came in 2011-12 with Buffalo where he played for 27 games before being dealt to the Vancouver Canucks later that same year. Following four seasons with the Canucks, Kassian found a home with the Edmonton Oilers where he has spent the past four seasons.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the Brandon 2010 Memorial Cup patch. The game wear on this size 56 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired holes and fine inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Kassian wearing this exact jersey while hoisting the Memorial Cup Trophy! A fantastic offering worn by this NHL veteran during his junior days as he helped the Windsor Spitfires to a Memorial Cup Championship while wearing this patched and photo matched sweater!
