This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok and Elite Sportswear was worn by Robert Nilsson during the 2009-10 NHL season. The New York Islanders selected Nilsson in the 1st round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Nilsson spent his rookie year with the Islanders before spending his final 4 NHL seasons with the Edmonton Oilers. In 2010, Robert joined the KHL where he played for 3 seasons before joining the Swiss A league where he competed for five seasons before announcing his retirement in 2018.
The game wear on this 1st set size 56 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, Edge material pulls and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Nilsson wearing this exact jersey during the 2009-10 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Edmonton Oilers game worn jersey and set tagging. A nice photo matched example from Nilsson’s last NHL season. This jersey will be accompanied by an Oilers team letter.
