The blue, yellow and white Vaughn goalie blocker was game worn by Ondrej Pavelec during the 2009-10 NHL season while playing for the Atlanta Thrashers. The Atlanta Thrashers selected Pavelec in the 2nd round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. After a couple of seasons with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, Pavelec joined the Thrashers organization and split time between the big club and their AHL affiliate the Chicago Wolves. Pavelec has since assumed the #1 role for the Thrashers, having played in 42 and 58 games respectively the past two seasons. This Czech native represented his country in the 2010 Olympics and World Championships.
