This Middletown, NJ native played his college hockey at the University of New Hampshire before joining the Flyers at just 20 years of age in 2009-10. The fourth annual Winter Classic was held at Boston’s Fenway Park on January 1st 2010, New Years Day. It pitted the Philadelphia Flyers against the hometown Boston Bruins. To the delight of 38,112 fans that braved the cold New England winter day and packed the grand old ballpark, the Boston Bruins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 in overtime.
