This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Jamal Mayers during the 2009-10 NHL season. The St. Louis Blues selected Mayers in the 4th round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at Western Michigan University, this Toronto native made his NHL debut in 1996-97 with the Blues where he played for 10 seasons. Mayers went on to represent the Maple Leafs, Flames, Sharks and Blackhawks before retiring after 15 NHL seasons that saw him compile an impressive 1200 PIMS.
Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the Calgary Flames 30-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this 3rd set size 58 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, pulls and pilling. The front belly of this jersey has been heavily customized with plenty of stitch-work in tow to accommodate an additional fight strap. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Mayers wearing this exact jersey during the 2009-10 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. A beautiful photo matched anniversary patched example that hails from Mayers’ only season as a member of the Calgary Flames. This jersey will be accompanied by a Flames team letter.
