2008 Ohio State Buckeyes Game Jersey – Player #5 – “BCS National Championship New Orleans 2008”

This red jersey by Nike was prepared for use and possibly worn by Chimdi Chekwa during the 2008 BCS National Championship game. Chekwa played 4 years at Ohio State and was named a first team All-American in his senior season. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 4th round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Chekwa has come close to making the NFL with very late cuts in pre-season in Oakland, New England and Miami.

This red Nike jersey has had the player name removed from the back. The 2008 New Orleans BCS National Championship patch resides on the right breast.
