2008-09 Zach Parise New Jersey Devils Game Worn Jersey – Career Best 45 Goal, 49 Assist , 94 Point Season – 2nd Team NHL All Star – Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #108

This home red air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Zach Parise during the 2008-09 NHL season. The New Jersey Devils selected Parise in the 1st round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. This Minneapolis native is the son of former NHL standout J.P. Parise and the younger brother of former Fighting Sioux goalie Jordan Parise. Parise spent two seasons playing college hockey for the Fighting Sioux at the University of North Dakota before making his NHL debut in 2005-06 with the Devils. Parise spent 7 seasons with the Devils before signing a 13-year $98 Million free-agent deal with the Minnesota Wild in the summer of 2012. Parise has spent 9 years with the Wild and is on the cusp of 400 goals for his career. Parise was named a 2nd Team NHL All Star in 2009 and also represented the Devils in the 2009 NHL All Star Game. On the international stage, Zach has been an integral part of Team USA, playing in numerous World Championships, the World Cup of Hockey and a couple of Olympics.

The game wear on this 1st set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and trauma, inner pilling and a couple of handfuls of team-sewn repairs. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Parise wearing this exact jersey during the 2008-09 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Parise netted a career best 45 goals, 49 assists and 94 points while wearing this gamer throughout the first half of the 2008-09 season, earning him a spot in the NHL All Star Game and 2nd Team NHL All Star honors. A terrific well-worn photo matched offering from a career best season for the Minnesota native.
