2008-09 Zach Parise New Jersey Devils Game Worn Jersey - 45-Goal Season - 2nd Team NHL All Star - Photo Match Team Letter
Lot #132
This home red air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Zach Parise during the 2008-09 NHL season. The New Jersey Devils selected Parise in the 1st round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. This Minnesota native is the son of former NHL standout J.P. Parise and the younger brother of former Fighting Sioux goalie Jordan Parise. Parise spent two seasons playing college hockey for the Fighting Sioux at the University of North Dakota before beginning his professional career. Zach joined the New Jersey Devils in 2005-06 and spent 7 seasons with the team that drafted him. Zach then signed a 13-year $98 Million deal with the hometown Minnesota Wild in the summer of 2012 where he is currently playing in his 5th season with the club. Parise has burgeoned into an offensive force, and finished 3rd in league wide goal scoring in 2008-09 with the Devils when he netted a career best 45. That same season saw him finish 5th in the Art Ross Trophy race with 94-points. Zach has six 30-Goal seasons already to his credit despite missing plenty of time due to injury and recently entered the 300-Goal club. Parise is an NHL All Star who was named a 2nd Team NHL All Star in 2009. On the international stage, Zach has been an integral part of Team USA, playing in numerous World Championships and a couple of Olympics.

The game wear on this 1st set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and trauma, stitch pops, inner pilling and a couple of handfuls of team-sewn repairs. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Parise wearing this exact jersey during the 2008-09 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Parise wore this sweater on home ice as he recorded the best season of his career, lighting the lamp 45 times and adding 49 assists for 94 points. He finished 3rd in leaguewide goal scoring and 5th in points, earning his only NHL All Star Game appearance and 2nd Team NHL All Star honors. A tremendous well-worn photo matched offering from one of the best seasons on record in New Jersey Devils franchise history! This jersey will be accompanied by a Devils team letter.
