2008-09 Zac Rinaldo Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors Game Worn Jersey – “2009 Ottawa IIHF” – Photo Match
Lot #273
This white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Zac Rinaldo during the 2008-09 OHL season. The Philadelphia Flyers selected Rinaldo in the 6th round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Zac made his NHL debut in the 2011 playoffs where he appeared in 2 games before becoming a regular on the Flyers roster for the 2011-12 season. Rinaldo spent 5 years with Philadelphia before joining the Boston Bruins this past season. Despite his small physical stature, Rinaldo has faced off with any and all opponents during his playing career thru the OHL, AHL and the NHL. In Rinaldo’s first NHL season, he amassed 232 PIMS in 66 games of action. Thus far he has accumulated 655 PIMS in 275 NHL regular season games and has added another 64 PIMS in 14 playoff contests.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the 2009 Ottawa IIHF patch. The game wear on this size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and fine pilling. Zac has penned a beautiful black sharpie signature alongside the nameplate. Shown above are some beautiful photo matches of Rinaldo wearing this exact jersey during the 2008-09 OHL season. A terrific patched and matched sweater from Rinaldo’s time in juniors.
