This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Troy Bodie during the 2008-09 NHL preseason, his rookie season. The Edmonton Oilers selected Bodie in the 9th round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. This Portage La Prairie native made his NHL debut in 2008-09 with the Anaheim Ducks where he played for parts of three seasons. This tough guy also represented the Carolina Hurricanes and the Toronto Maple Leafs over the course of his five-year NHL career.
The game wear on this 1st set size 58+ sweater is on the lighter side as would be expected with stick and slash marks, board burns, heavy cuff pilling and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Bodie wearing this exact jersey during the 2008-09 preseason. On the back player number is a beautiful silver sharpie signature in Bodie’s own hand.
